Côte Gamers to publish Lilly’s Saga for the MSX2
OSLO, Norway / PARIS, France, December 11, 2022 – Norway-originated game developer Fabulous 8bit and Côté Gamers, the French publisher for retro video games and books, are pleased to announce a publishing deal aimed at bringing physical editions of the critically acclaimed Lilly’s Saga – The Stones Of Evergreen out to the massive crowd of MSX-enthusiasts out there.
Fabulous 8bit comes out of nowhere and climbs to the top of the charts with its release of the free version of the game Lilly’s Saga – The Stones of Evergreen. Pål Frogner Hansen, acting CEO of Fabulous 8bit is very excited about the deal. ”To be able to get the game mass produced and in a shiny physical, boxed format is a dream come true. We are thrilled to team up with a publisher of retro computer content that has years of experience with supply chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution”, Pål says.
The fundamental idea is that the value of the physical version will be much greater than the free version of the game. The audience should expect something extra. Luckily, there are no hardware shortages in the world at the moment either, so manufacturing is expected to be done in a jiffy.

This time we will have the privilege to publish the winner of the MSXdev22, which is not a small thing when you know that this year was full of great titles.”
The two parties will now spend some time working together and more information about the actual product will follow shortly.
